  • There is a default 2 week lead time for bookings (customers can only book events 14 days out or more from today’s date)
  • There is a default 30 minute buffer enabled between any bookings you take on the same date
  • The system takes care of preventing double bookings
  • End users can change/cancel their booking online themselves up to 3 days prior to the event; if it is within 3 days of the event, they must contact FieldTripFactory.Org to make a change or cancellation
  • Get a real feel for your location schedule and make test bookings by jumping into Big Al’s LIVE booking engine here
  • PLEASE – for everyone’s sake, only make a test booking for your own location
  • PLEASE BE SURE to add ‘TEST’ as the first part of the Org Name when making test bookings (i.e. ‘Test Elementary School’) 
  • Use a real email for the Group Contact (preferably your location email you used to login) as it is LIVE and will receive notifications of the test booking
  • Your location will NOT receive location notifications for test bookings – but they will show up as Test Bookings in your View Bookings portal
  • Use whatever dummy data you would like otherwise (other than the Group Contact Email and Org Name guidelines just discussed)
  • You do NOT have to complete the booking process to cheat and peek at your live schedule; you can abort before you confirm the test booking after date selection  – the system will reset the slot for availability if you do not complete the booking
  • Contact support@ if you would like us to delete/remove any test bookings from your View Bookings portal
  • Contact us if you need help making a special booking that is short-notice (within the 2-week advanced booking buffer) or help making a booking outside your normal set schedule without disruption to your regular schedule
